Summary: This home is convenient to a public boat ramp, delicious restaurants, swimming with manatee, and scalloping charters. This is an old home that’s been renovated nicely. The pool is very old and has a fairly high wall around the edges, which could be difficult for older people to navigate. Another safety concern was that the living room is sunken down a step and the ledge is on a diagonal which also could be difficult for any age to navigate when traveling from bedroom and bathrooms to the kitchen or dining area. We had an unusually large amount of rain and coming in the front door with no floor mat in place made the tile super super slippery. The King size bed was super super hard and family said the other beds were comfortable. I let the manager know about the slippery tile and he seemed receptive to addressing that concern. We would stay again.
